There are numerous things that make myself unique.
This interview question, "What makes you unique?" is not an opportunity to confess weird habits or odd quirks. It's a chance to provide the interviewer with insight into how you'd be the best candidate for a role, while proving you're someone who can think on her feet.
Before we get into it, please check out my gallery.
Disclaimer: We are UNIQUE in our own special way. Embrace it!
[1] I am an excellent communicator and relatable to humanity through my service.
As an open-minded thinker, I find that it's easy for me to demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills while having the ability to connect with a diverse group of people.
Being a multilinguist, I found that the purpose of communication to for one to be understood, because languages come in many different forms: English, Indonesian, Korean, Japanese, Arabic, Body language, or even ASL (American Sign Language), you name it.
We developed a theory that states language and cognition are two separate but closely interacting mechanisms. Language accumulates cultural wisdom; cognition develops mental representations modeling the surrounding world and adapts cultural knowledge to concrete circumstances of life.
Tell me your thoughts about that in the comment :)
[2] I am natural, confident, and constantly seeking opportunities to learn.
Humility is the main ingredient in this process.
One of my purpose in life is to be a service to God and share my gifts with humanity.
As an only child, I can think of my innate independence began when I went on National Science Olympic trips in middle school, and up to high school. It was a blast!
I am so grateful because of the various opportunities to showcase my talents and learn new skills as a student, plus I had the chance to forge new friendships, share ideas with my peers, and eventually drive my team into victory.
[3] When solving problems, I utilize both logic/reasoning and psychology in equal proportion.
For instance, most people are either logical and use analytics to solve problems, or emotional and use creativity. It's rare to find someone who is both. If you truly believe you combine these two aspects, it's an impressive ability you should highlight!
[4] I love my freedom and am responsible for my autonomy.
When being in a relationship, whether it is a serious or casual friendship, I would emphasize the significance of having a personal space to expand as an individual and reach our own highest potential. Remember that the relationship with ourselves must be a priority!
What is space?
It is a continuous area or expanse which is free, available, or unoccupied.
It is the dimensions of height, depth, and width within which all things exist and move.
Get it now?
Cool!
